Use the steps below to install our customized player. Keep your username and password ready.

Fire TV / Firestick

Install via Downloader

  1. On the home screen, go to Find → Search, type Downloader, and install it from the Amazon Appstore.
  2. Open Settings → My Fire TV → Developer Options and enable Apps from Unknown Sources (if shown).
  3. Open the Downloader app.
  4. In the URL box, enter aftv.news/5333171 and press Go.
  5. When the installer appears, choose Install.
  6. Open the app → tap Playlist → Edit.
  7. Enter the Username and Password we sent you → tap Save Playlist.
  8. Return to Playlist, select it, then tap Connect.

If you see a storage or permissions prompt, allow it.

Android Phones & Tablets

Install (two options)

A) Using your browser (fast)

  1. Open Chrome (or your browser) and go to aftv.news/5333171.
  2. Download the file, then open it and tap Install.
    If prompted, allow Install unknown apps for your browser.
  3. Open the app → Playlist → Edit → enter your Username and Password → Save Playlist.
  4. Back to Playlist → select it → Connect.

B) Using the Downloader app

  1. Install Downloader by AFTVnews from Google Play.
  2. Open Downloader and type aftv.news/5333171, then tap Go.
  3. Install the app, then set your Playlist as above and tap Connect.

Quick Use

Log in and start streaming

  1. Open the app.
  2. Go to Playlist → Edit.
  3. Enter your Username and Password (no URL needed).
  4. Tap Save Playlist.
  5. Select the playlist and tap Connect.

You will see Live TV, Movies, and Series after the first sync.

Troubleshoot

Common fixes

  1. Invalid login: Check caps/spacing in your username and password.
  2. Stuck on loading: Reboot device and try Connect again.
  3. No video / black screen: In settings, switch the video decoder (Hardware <→> Software).
  4. Slow or buffering: Use a wired adapter or 5 GHz Wi-Fi. Close other streaming apps.

HOW TO SETUP SMARTERS IPTV

Downloader shortcut code: 6468112 • Keep your Server URL, Username, and Password ready.

Android (phones & tablets)

Fast install via browser

  1. Open Chrome (or your browser) and go to aftv.news/6468112.
  2. Download the APK. When finished, tap the file and choose Install.
    If prompted, allow Install unknown apps for your browser.
  3. Open Smarters Player.
  4. Choose Login with Xtream Codes API (or Add User → Xtream Codes).
  5. Enter your Server URL, Username, and Password.
  6. Tap Add User / Login and wait for the sync to finish.
  7. Go to Live TV, Movies, or Series to watch.

Alternative: using the Downloader app

  1. Install Downloader by AFTVnews from Google Play.
  2. Open Downloader → type aftv.news/6468112 → Go.
  3. Install the app, then follow the login steps above.

Fire TV / Firestick

Install via Downloader

  1. On Home screen, go to Find → Search, install Downloader (Amazon Appstore).
  2. Go to Settings → My Fire TV → Developer Options and enable Apps from Unknown Sources (or enable for Downloader).
  3. Open Downloader and enter aftv.news/6468112, then press Go.
  4. When the installer appears, choose Install, then Open.
  5. In Smarters, pick Login with Xtream Codes API.
  6. Enter your Server URL, Username, and Password → Login.
  7. Wait for the sync, then open Live TV, Movies, or Series.

If video doesn’t play, try switching the decoder in Smarters settings (Hardware ↔ Software).

Tip: If you see “invalid details”, re-enter credentials carefully and remove extra spaces.

HOW TO SETUP TIVIMATE

1. Open the TiviMate app.

2. Select Add playlist.

3. TiviMate will ask you to add a playlist using an M3U link, Xtream code, or Stalker Portal. Select the M3U playlist.

In this article, we will use an M3U link to play an IPTV service in the TiviMate app. When you subscribe to our IPTV service, you will receive an email with relevant login information and an M3U link. If you don’t get an M3U link, please contact our customer suppor.

4. TiviMate will ask for your M3U link. Enter your M3U link and press Next.

5. TiviMate will load the IPTV service and offer a peek at the number of channels and movies available in the IPTV package.

6. Add a Playlist name.

7. If the playlist is finished processing, select Done.

A minute or two later, you will see the IPTV service’s content appearing in the TiviMate app.

If you don’t see an EPG enabled in the TiviMate app, consider enabling it in the app’s Settings.

As I mentioned above, the major features of TiviMate are behind a paywall. You need to pay for the premium version to enjoy TiviMate at its greatest potential.

When you try to access any premium feature without a premium account, TiviMate will ask you to upgrade to premium. For example, when you try to add a channel to your list of favorites, TiviMate will prompt you to upgrade the app. If you wish to continue with the free version, you can hit Cancel and keep using the free TiviMate app on FireStick.

To purchase the premium version, you need to use the TiviMate Companion app from the Google Play Store. Here’s how to do it.

FIRESTICK : How to install TiviMate

Part 1: Get Downloader on FireStick

  1. Open the FireStick Home screen.
  2. Go to Find → Search.
  3. Type Downloader → select the Downloader app → choose Get / Download to install.
Before opening Downloader to install TiviMate, change a setting in FireStick to allow apps from unknown sources.

Part 2: Change FireStick Settings

  1. Press the Home button on the remote.
  2. Go to Settings (gear icon).
  3. Select My Fire TV → Developer Options.
  4. Open Install from Unknown Apps and set Downloader to ON.

Part 3: Use Downloader to Install TiviMate

  1. Open the Downloader app.
  2. On the Home tab, select the URL field.
  3. Enter aftv.news/272483 and press Go (this is the new Downloader code).
  4. Wait for the TiviMate APK to download.
  5. When prompted, click Install.
  6. After installation, choose Done, then delete the APK to save space (confirm Delete twice).

Pin TiviMate to Home (Optional)

  1. Press and hold the Home button → select Apps.
  2. Highlight TiviMate IPTV Player (don’t open it), press the Options (≡) button.
  3. Select Move → place it in the top row → press Select to confirm.
Next: open TiviMate → Add playlist → choose the method your service provided
(e.g., Xtream Codes (Username/Password/URL) or M3U) → sign in with the subscription details we sent you.

FIRESTICK : How to install SMARTERS IPTV

Install IPTV Smarters on Firestick

  1. First, install the Downloader app.
    (This is required because Firestick does not allow browser downloads.)
  2. On the Firestick home screen, go to Find → Search and type Downloader.
  3. Select the Downloader app from results and install it.
  4. Return to the home screen → go to Settings.
  5. Select My Fire TV → Developer Options.
  6. Choose Install from unknown apps → enable it for Downloader.
  7. Open the Downloader app. If prompted, dismiss messages until you see the main screen.
  8. In the URL field, type: https://www.iptvsmarters.com/smarters.apk and press Go.
  9. Wait for the file to download.
  10. When prompted, click Install.
  11. Wait until the installation finishes.
  12. Click Done (recommended) to return to Downloader.
  13. Delete the APK file to save storage (Downloader will ask twice, choose Delete both times).
  14. Now open the IPTV Smarters app from your Apps list.
  15. Login with the subscription details we sent you and enjoy streaming.
✅ IPTV Smarters is now installed on your Firestick.

  1. Download STB Emulator from Google Play Store.
  2. Install and open the app. Note your MAC address shown on screen.
  3. Tap near the top-right corner → select Settings (4th icon).
  4. Go to Profiles.
  5. Select Test portal to modify or Add profile to create a new one.
  6. Tap STB Model → choose MAG 250 (or another model).
  7. Tap Portal settings → enter your Portal URL (check your activation email) → press OK.
  8. Go to Screen Resolution → select 1280×720 (use higher if speed is 16+ Mbps).
  9. Exit the app and restart.
  10. Your channel list should now load.

Troubleshooting

If channels don’t load, try this fix:

Restart the app, your device/box, and your Wi-Fi router.

Connect MAG Device to TV and Internet, then follow these steps:

  1. Go to Settings → System Settings → Servers → Portals
  2. Set Portal 1 Name: Host Up
  3. Set Portal 1 URL: (check your email)
  4. Set Portal 2 Name: Leave empty (only use if you order a second subscription)
  5. Set Portal 2 URL: Leave empty (only use if you order a second subscription)
  6. Save all settings
  7. Reboot the device
  8. After restart, wait until the TV loads
  9. The channel list screen will appear

ROKU Device

This tutorial shows how to “sideload” an IPTV player onto a Roku device. You will use a computer to upload the package to Roku.

You can also watch IPTV on Roku by casting from another device using an IPTV player such as TiviMate or IPTV Smarters.

We’ll split the process into four parts:

  • Part 1: Enabling developer options on Roku
  • Part 2: Adding the IPTV Smarters channel
  • Part 3: Downloading the IPTV Smarters package on your computer
  • Part 4: Installing IPTV Smarters on Roku

Don’t worry—follow each part in order.

Part 1: Enable Developer Options on Roku

  1. Switch your TV to the Roku HDMI input to launch Roku.
  2. On the Roku remote press: Home ×3 → Up ×2 → Right → Left → Right → Left → Right.
  3. The Developer Options menu appears.
  4. Note the IP address shown on screen.
  5. Select Enable installer and restart.
  6. Review the license and choose I Agree.
  7. Create a webserver password (you will need it later).
  8. Select Set password and reboot.

Part 2: Add IPTV Smarters Channel

  1. On your computer, open a browser and go to my.roku.com.
  2. Sign in with your Roku account.
  3. Under Manage account, choose Add channel with a code.
  4. Enter iptvsmarters exactly.
  5. Select Add Channel.
  6. Confirm any warnings and proceed with Yes, add channel.

Part 3: Download IPTV Smarters Package on Your Computer

  1. Download the IPTV Smarters package to your computer from the official source provided by your service.
  2. Save it somewhere easy to find (e.g., Desktop).

Use only trusted sources for downloads.

Part 4: Install IPTV Smarters on Roku

  1. On your computer, open a browser and enter the Roku IP address you noted earlier.
  2. When prompted, sign in with Username: rokudev and your webserver password.
  3. Click Upload.
  4. Browse to the IPTV Smarters package you downloaded and select it.
  5. Click Install to sideload the channel.
  6. After installation, the channel will appear on your Roku home screen.
  7. Open IPTV Smarters and log in with your service credentials.

Steps to Watch IPTV on Roku Through Screen Mirroring

If you prefer not to sideload, you can mirror or cast from a phone or tablet on the same Wi-Fi network.

  1. Install an IPTV player (e.g., IPTV Smarters or Smart IPTV) on your phone or tablet.
  2. Open the player and sign in with your IPTV service.
  3. Use your device’s Cast or Screen Mirroring option to send video to your Roku.
  4. Start streaming from the app; it will display on the Roku-connected TV.
SONY TV

Install IPTV via Play Store

Sony Smart TVs use either Android TV OS or Google TV OS. Both have the Google Play Store, so the process is the same:

  1. Turn on your Sony Smart TV and go to the Apps section.
  2. Select Play Store and type the name of the IPTV app in the search bar.
  3. Choose the IPTV app from the results and click Install.
  4. Once installed, open the IPTV app.
  5. Enter your login details and start streaming.

Install IPTV via Downloader

If the IPTV app is not available in the Play Store, use the Downloader app:

  1. On your TV, go to Apps and open the Play Store.
  2. Search for Downloader and install it.
  3. Go back to Settings → Device Preferences → Security & Restrictions → Unknown Sources.
  4. Enable permissions for the Downloader app.
  5. Open Downloader and enter the IPTV APK link provided by your service.
  6. Click Go, wait for the file to download, then choose Install.
  7. Open the IPTV app and log in with your credentials.

Install IPTV via USB Drive

You can also sideload the IPTV APK using a USB drive:

  1. On your PC, download the IPTV APK file from a trusted website.
  2. Copy the APK file to a USB drive.
  3. Plug the USB drive into your Sony Smart TV.
  4. On your TV, go to Settings → Device Preferences → Security & Restrictions → Unknown Sources and enable it.
  5. Locate the APK file from the USB and open it.
  6. Click Install and wait for the app to finish installing.
  7. Open the IPTV app and enjoy streaming.
